## Short version

The website can use Google Analytics 4 (G-X3C1WRRXK7) after you accept optional analytics cookies. The Chrome extension runs locally in your browser with limited permissions. We do not sell personal data.

## Who we are

This privacy note covers the Mobile Simulator marketing site at https://msim.app and the related Mobile Simulator MSIM Responsive Viewer Chrome extension published on the Chrome Web Store (ID peipdddkaeomnfdenmkddkapeemjomnb).

## Cookies

msim.app shows a cookie consent banner. Choices:

- **Accept analytics**, enables Google Analytics 4 cookies/storage
- **Essential only**, keeps analytics storage denied

Your choice is stored in browser `localStorage` under `msim_cookie_consent`. Change it anytime via **Cookie settings** in the site footer. Details: https://msim.app/privacy.html#cookies

### Essential

- Consent preference (`msim_cookie_consent`)
- Security / hosting technical logs needed to deliver the site

### Optional analytics (after Accept only)

- Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-X3C1WRRXK7)

Until you accept, analytics storage stays denied through Google Consent Mode. We do not use advertising cookies or ad personalization on msim.app.

## Website (msim.app)

### Google Analytics

When analytics cookies are accepted, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-X3C1WRRXK7) to understand traffic such as approximate location, device type, pages viewed, and referral sources. Landing pages may also send product events (for example install clicks). Google may process data under its own terms: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can withdraw consent via Cookie settings, or limit analytics via browser settings or Google tools.

### Server logs

Hosting providers (for example Cloud Run / CDN infrastructure) may process standard request logs such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps for reliability and security.

### Agent and crawler access

Public documentation files (llms.txt, markdown pages, JSON catalogs under /.well-known/) are intentionally readable by AI agents and search crawlers. They contain product information, not private user content.

## Chrome extension

The extension runs in your browser to help preview websites across device sizes. It uses limited permissions appropriate for that purpose. Page content you preview is processed locally in the browser context for simulation; we do not operate a remote browser farm that stores your browsing history as a cloud product feature.

Always review the live Chrome Web Store permission listing before install.

## Affiliates and recommendations

If we later show optional partner tool suggestions, they will be disclosed. Affiliate relationships, when present, do not change the free core product.
